Transportation and Shuttle Information For Summer 2021 From Parks Canada:
Expect traffic congestion in the Lake Louise area. Parking is extremely limited at the Lake Louise Lakeshore and Moraine Lake and is often full by sunrise and remains full throughout the day. Booking a seat on a Parks Canada shuttle is the best way to provide certainty in reaching your destination!
Parking at Lake Louise Lakeshore and Moraine Lake is often full by sunrise and remains full throughout the day in peak season (May to October). There is no space to wait for parking stalls to become available. Washroom and drop off/pick up areas cannot be accessed when parking is full. Plan ahead, arrive with extra time and patience, and have back-up areas to visit.
New in 2021– Paid parking at Lake Louise Lakeshore!
Paid parking will be in effect at Lake Louise Lakeshore during the shuttle operational season, from mid-May to mid-October.
Reserve: You can book your shuttle seat using the Parks Canada reservation system beginning April 28th 2021.
